At Versa Creative, a Houston-based advertising agency, change and progression are integral facets of our culture and purpose. As we begin the new year, we are inspired by the vast opportunities that await us and welcome the challenges they bring. 2017 brought us exciting new growth and a few significant milestones to celebrate, but we were truly humbled to partner with ZT Wealth, a world-renowned wealth management firm, to develop their recent rebrand. This immense undertaking was made possible by the collaborative efforts of our creative and strategic teams and stands as one of our most ambitious accomplishments to date. So, what exactly changed? In short, a lot. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we felt it was necessary to share ZT’s story as well as the highlights of this successful rebrand.
ZT Wealth isn’t exactly a lightweight. For the past 20 years, they’ve managed to establish new standards of excellence in the markets they serve. Through powerful partnerships, they’ve forged a successful path in wealth management that’s echoed throughout the industry. Over the years, they have diversified in the various industries, including healthcare (Altus Health), automobile dealerships (ZT Motors), sports agencies (ZT Sports), multi-family real estate (ZT Real Estate Fund, L.P.), and fast food restaurants (ZT Quick Service Restaurants Fund). Yet as they looked to their future endeavors, they knew a change was necessary to unite these entities under one powerful brand. They needed a new look—a new feel—to serve as their flagship enterprise. Simply put, they needed to reflect the new era of ZT. They needed ZT Corporate. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
The grand announcement was made at the Toast to Living Well Gala in downtown Houston last December, which is an annual event dedicated to raising funds for the Altus Foundation to help provide crucial medical services to those in need. Taseer Badar, the corporation’s CEO, delivered the news himself along with a vibrant announcement trailer that recapped the company’s prosperous history and showcased the new logo assets.
Teamwork was key. We worked closely with ZT to align their vision for the future with a brand that’s telling of their culture and dynamic partnerships. These exciting new assets were the result of seamless team efforts to develop a brand that would serve as a vehicle for the company’s vast ambitions. Founded on trust and integrity, ZT Corporate encapsulates the collective values of the corporation since its establishment in 1997. The logo, as well as a vibrant new tagline, also reflects these values and showcases a sleek and powerful icon that’s worthy of the ZT Corporate name. Yet words don’t do it justice—see it for yourself!
A successful rebrand, indeed, but this is just the beginning.
