Integrated Education Marketing Campaign

Versa Creative developed a strategic education marketing campaign comprising multiple elements of advertising, visual design, prints, mockups, and supplementary informational resources for YES Prep. Additionally, our team created YES Prep’s first-ever drip email campaign.
The Channels
Operating as an extension of YES Prep’s internal team, Versa Creative constructed a detailed audit to ensure that the overall mission and messaging were cohesive amongst every aspect of the brand. We revised their previously existing mission statement to incorporate the company’s newly implemented organizational vision. Additionally, we strategized a more impactful core messaging statement that would support their overall goal of enrollment and retainment. Versa Creative also held a workshop with stakeholders to strategize key objectives for the upcoming year and years to follow.
YES Prep has established itself as a dominant force in student-focused education. With 25 campuses, YES Prep sought help from Versa Creative to create a powerful integrated marketing campaign that also supported their focus on increased enrollment and retainment. Additionally, our team created YES Prep’s first-ever email campaign, with a focus on the events of the calendar year, student recruitment, education preparation, and more. Every asset was conceptualized in both English and Spanish because a large population of their school’s demographic is composed of the Hispanic population.
Marketing Campaign
Access to the opportunity for success is fundamental within all YES Prep locations. Versa Creative wanted to highlight this by creating advertising material that thoroughly explained how YES Prep curriculum transcends that of other schools. Photo and video sessions were conducted at each of the 25 locations so families could visualize the opportunities they would have access to after enrollment. Versa Creative’s media team conducted interviews with the staff, students, and family members of YES Prep, which supported personalized content that allowed viewers to have an immersed experience in the YES Prep culture. Additionally, a social media education marketing campaign that consisted of organic posts, carousel ads, and additional promotional posts was conducted – all of which incorporated YES Prep’s new palette of bright and expressive colors.
Brand Awareness Campaign
Diversity and inclusion is an aspect of YES Prep’s school culture that extends from their dynamic student population to the teachers that help shape their lives. With a population that is over 54.5% Hispanic, YES Prep schools initiated a campaign that focused on the recruitment of teachers who were not only bilingual but also multi-cultural. This campaign specifically highlighted the efforts of YES Prep’s recruitment efforts for teachers from Puerto Rico, who would resonate personally with a large number of the school’s student population.
Versa Creative aided in this recruitment campaign by creating various assets that strategically conveyed the campaign’s mission. We produced optimized advertising on multiple social media platforms, which produced above-average click-through rates and over 200,000 impressions. Traditional media assets, like billboards, press releases, and newspaper ads, were conceptualized and designed to bring awareness to YES Prep’s mission and capture the widest potential audience possible. Versa Creative also utilized radio spots written and contracted by our team, in addition to television campaigns, which produced over 1.5 million impressions.

Harris County Department of Education
Integrated Education Marketing Campaign
Harris County Department of Education serves approximately 30 thousand students, educators, and school staff in Texas’ largest county. The department’s mission is to support Harris County by enriching educational opportunities and providing value through services.
The Challenge
The Harris County Department of Education provides school districts in Harris County with a wide array of educational programs and services. With tax season on the horizon, HCDE needed taxpayers to understand the value and impact the department had on the community to benefit their cause in the upcoming election.
The Channels
The Objective
The Versa Creative team was tasked with developing a comprehensive education marketing campaign that displayed the importance of HCDE while also informing taxpayers of its low homeowner’s tax rate in Harris County. The campaign needed to bring awareness to the organization’s wide range of services, giving the general public a better understanding of what HCDE is and what it offers to the community.
The Strategy
Together, our team produced an integrated digital and traditional campaign across numerous communication channels, including video production and animation, web design, pay-per-click, social media, billboards, and print assets. An animated video served as the centerpiece of the campaign, giving audiences insight into the organization in an engaging manner.
The Results
The Harris County Department of Education’s campaign reached over 3.9 million people in Harris County. The campaign was a huge success, and we were so happy to work alongside the Harris County Department of Education to pursue their goals.
Newman International Academy
Integrated Education Marketing Campaign
Newman International Academy advocates for a balanced, well-rounded curriculum in a disciplined, nurturing, and character-building environment. As a tuition-free public charter school in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Newman International Academy aims to give students opportunities to reach their full potential and serve their communities with pride and purpose.
Versa Creative and Newman International Academy teamed up to increase the academy’s digital footprint and ultimately drive traffic to the website using Google ads and an enhanced social media presence.
To broaden their digital footprint, the Versa team designed Facebook ads that showcased the Newman International Academy’s core value of community and developing each student’s character, therefore building the whole child. Versa created boosted posts, pay-per-click ads, and a 30-second video ad campaign to engage with potential families interested in the school’s unique approach to education and community-building.
The Channels
In addition to optimizing Newman International Academy’s digital footprint, Versa developed digital billboards that underlined the differentiators of the tuition-free charter school and the campuses around the Arlington, Texas area, launched a print billboard campaign to help their most struggling students, and initiated a mailer campaign to boost enrollment in their least-populated campuses.
The Results
The campaign to create a distinct digital footprint, generate leads, and boost enrollment resulted in over 15 million impressions, more than 32K total clicks, a cost-per-click of 37% lower than the education industry average in search results, and 8.5% lower on Facebook. Furthermore, the campaign received over 400K video views across Google Ads and over 198K page engagements on Facebook. This success rate was so high that the team at Newman International Academy needed to implement a new system to review the abundant amount of leads generated.
