HARLEY-DAVIDSON
Houston Harley Talk – Blog Writing
In less than one year, Versa Creative got over 250 keywords ranking on the first page.
ABOUT
Houston Harley Talk is a blog for all things Harley-Davidson in the Houston area, providing information about Harley-Davidson motorcycles, dealerships, news, and trends. Versa Creative launched HoustonHarleyTalk.com in March 2021 to drive traffic to websites for two Houston-area Harley-Davidson dealerships—Harley-Davidson of Kingwood and Harley-Davidson of The Woodlands. The blog was initially built solely to rank on Google, but the content has grown and is shared widely across various channels, including Reddit, Twitter, and a Harley-Davidson podcast.

the challenge
Before Houston Harley Talk, neither of the Harley-Davidson dealerships was using blogs to drive traffic to their website and locations.
the objective
Versa Creative set out to create high quality blogs that provided information relevant to motorcyclists and ranked on search engines like Google and Bing. Through high rankings, we generated traffic to the blog website as well as the dealership websites.
THE STRATEGY
Starting with keyword research, we identified topics that we could address on the Houston Harley Talk website that would drive traffic and generate leads for the dealerships.
From keyword research, we moved on to creating high quality articles created for motorcyclists and new motorcycle riders alike. Our blogs needed to have useful information, engaging headlines and titles, and relevant imagery.
Along with content, we needed to make sure that the website as a whole was optimized for user experience and responsive on various platforms and devices.
All of these elements were key to creating content that would rank and drive traffic.
Results
The SEO team accomplished outstanding growth since the blog launched less than one year ago, amassing nearly 300 keywords ranked on the first page of Google search results, which has driven most of the website traffic.
